We are a full service moving company which offers the following services: local, in-state, long distance, international moves as well as long and short term storage.
We are a family owned and operated business serving the Williamsport and surrounding areas for over 90 years and in 1963 became an agent for Mayflower Transit. Our company's current president is Andrew T. Roan. Andrew is the fifth generation to operate this family owned business and brings over 15 years of experience to every move.
Andrew, with the support an encouragement of his parents, Tom and Lori, along with his wife Autumn, Aunt, Renee, and a team of valued employees with over 150 years of combined moving experience have built a reputation throughout the Williamsport area by meeting and exceeding our customer's expectations. When a customer calls Roan's Transfer & Storage, chances are a past customer has referred them to us or they have moved with us before. We are proud to say we have been serving our customers for generations!

Our History
1932
Frank L. Roan purchased his first two trucks and began to haul used furniture.
1933
Frank L. Roan obtained his first PA. Utility Authority & with his son Dean began doing business as Frank L. Roan & Son.


1949

Dean E. Roan took over his father's company along with his wife Lillian and son, Robert, began Roan's Trucking Service.
1963
Roan's Trucking Services became an agent for Mayflower Transit.


1973
Robert E. Roan & his wife Arlene began to run the business after his father's death.
1982
Thomas E. Roan, Robert's son, joined the family business full time.


1991
After Robert's & Arlene's retirement, Tom purchased the company and his wife, Lori, joined the company.
1998
Renee Eiswerth, Tom's sister-in-law, joined the Mayflower Team and is our relocation consultant.


2012
Celebrating our 80th year.


2012
Andrew Roan, Tom's oldest son, joined the company after graduating.
2022
Roan's Transfer & Storage Celebrates 90 years!
2025
5th Generation - Andrew and Autumn purchased Roan's Transfer and Storage. Tom and Lori officially retired and are enjoying Nana and Pap duty to Andrew and Autumn's Son, Levi and Daughter, Adalynn!
